The Invention of the Baromoter

I went down a rabbit hole after discussing the constitutionality of the National Weather Service. 

An indirect benefit the enumerated powers provides businesses is that it provides incentives to invent things - check out the patents clause. 

The barometer was invented to help predict the weather. A number of patents have been issued for improvements to the device, as well as other things related to monitoring the weather.
