For 2301, in anticipation of our discussion of political parties: Since 2005, Texas' Democratic Party operations have been at least partly funded by an unusual organization called the Texas Democratic Trust, a Political Action Committee which has funded the Texas Democratic Party along with a variety of other groups and consultants.
