Court reinstates part of 'don't ask, don't tell'

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals temporarily reinstated part of the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy the Obama Administration rescinded recently because it didn't take into consideration changes to the law made by Congress last year. It involves a complex entanglement of a slew of institutions in each of the three branches and illustrates just how confusing a system of separated powers really is.
