A means excellent - so keep that in mind.
Well written, comprehensive, lengthy answers that are easy to read tend to get A's. It helps if it obvious to me what question you are addressing - I get answers sometimes that are so vague it is difficult to figure that out. A basic answer that barely meets the requirements gets a passing grade, but not much more.
Make it next to impossible to deny you an A. I hope that helps.
